How to Set Up StreamView IPTV on LG Smart TV (webOS)

LG webOS Media Player Compatibility

LG Smart TVs running webOS 4.0 through webOS 24 support several high-performance native media player applications directly from the LG Content Store, avoiding the need for external HDMI streaming sticks.

Step 1: Install a Player from the LG Content Store

1. Press the Home button on your LG Magic Remote.
2. Launch the LG Content Store (or Apps card).
3. Click the Search icon in the upper right corner and type IBO Player (or alternately SmartOne IPTV or BOB Player).
4. Click Install.

Step 2: Retrieve Device Identifiers

1. Launch the installed player on your LG TV.
2. Locate the on-screen credentials:

• TV MAC Address: (Formatted like aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff)
• Device Key: (A 6-digit numeric security PIN)

Step 3: Web Portal Playlist Upload

1. On your phone or laptop, navigate to the web upload page of your chosen application (for example, iboplayer.com/device/login).
2. Log in using your LG TV's MAC Address and Device Key.
3. Select Add Playlist.
4. Paste the M3U Plus URL or enter the Xtream Codes server, username, and password received from our WhatsApp Support Desk.
5. Save changes and reload the app on your LG TV. Your live television bouquets and on-demand movies will populate instantly.

Step 4: webOS Stream Performance Tuning

To maintain smooth 60 FPS live sports feeds on LG OLED and LED panels:

• In player settings, ensure video stream format is set to HLS (.m3u8) for adaptive bitrate delivery.
• In LG TV Picture Settings, turn off excessive motion smoothing algorithms (TruMotion) to avoid frame interpolation artifacts during live high-framerate broadcasts.
